Korean shipowner Sinokor once again ordered four 1,100 container feeder ships from Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding.
The four new ships are scheduled to be delivered in 2022. The value of the newbuilding contract has not been announced.
In addition to the newly ordered new ships, Sinokor has also ordered 12 1100 container ships from Huangpu Wenchong. Sinokor has been busy reducing the tonnage of its fleet and has sold 5 ultra-large crude oil carriers, including the 4 ultra-large crude oil carriers built by Daewoo Shipbuilding.
Sinokor currently owns 164 ships, and a total of 40 new ships have been ordered.
