On July 24, Dalian Shipbuilding Industry held a naming ceremony for the 115,000-ton crude oil/product oil tanker No. 43 built for Maersk Tankers.

Vice General Manager of DSIC Deng Changlian and relevant department heads attended the ceremony. Ms. Seungju Lee named the ship "MAERSK SANDRA".

The ship is the first in a new series of refined oil products ships being built by DSIC for Maersk Tankers.

The ship is 250 meters in length, 44 meters in width and 21.9 meters in depth. It has a deadweight tonnage of 115,000 dwt, a structural draft of 15.35 meters and a designed speed of 14.5 knots. It is registered in Lloyd's Register under the Singapore flag.

In order to meet the requirements of energy-saving design, energy-saving guide wheels are installed on the stern tube of the ship propeller in front of the ship, and the light turning margin of the propeller is not less than 3%.
