On July 22, the ships "SOYA TIANJIN" and "WHEAT WEIFANG" ordered by Shandong Shipping Corporation and ICBC Leasing for Bunge Group were delivered at Yangzhou COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry Shipyard.
ICBC Leasing and Shandong Shipping are pioneering joint ventures to build a new model of common ship type, realizing their respective advantages in ship financing and shipbuilding pipe ships.
During the construction of the "SOYA TIANJIN" and "WHEAT WEIFANG", which were during COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control, multi-party cooperation ensured that the performance parameters of the ships were superior to the design indicators, and the ships were delivered in a high quality and efficient manner.
Representatives from China Classification Society, Marshall Islands and Jiangdu District Government attended the ceremony.
