1.China's cargo throughput has increased for three consecutive months, according to Ministry of Transport.
 
2.China's shipbuilders received new vessels orders amounting to 12.5 million dead weight tons (dwt) in H1, higher by 3.4% on year.

3.As Economic activity shrinks,shipyards are having to close and small shipbuilders are going bust, but Yangzijiang Shipbuilding has actually announced several new orders.

4.China's New Dayang Shipbuilding has secured newbuilding orders from two domestic owners for the construction of four bulk carriers in total.

5.Shanghai Bestway Marine Engineering Design has announced that its subsidiary yard Dajin Heavy Industry has won a bid to build a windfarm barge vessel.

6.Thai tanker owner Prima Marine has returned to Chinese yard Zhejiang Shenzhen Shipbuilding for the construction of three 3,000 dwt small clean tankers.

7.In the week ending Jul-17, Ningbo Containerized Freight Index (NCFI) issued by Ningbo Shipping Exchange (NBSE).

8.Ghana's new container terminal located in West Africa's Gulf of Guinea has placed Ghana in a more competitive position.
