SUNRUI officially completed the delivery of the ballast water management system of NYK Line’s “Frontier Rose”, which is the 1,000th set of ballast water equipment operated by Qingdao SUNRUI.
“Frontier Rose” is an 180000DWT bulk carrier under NYK Line, registered as panama flag and classified into ClassNK.
Since July 2020, SUNRUI has successfully delivered a number of ballast water renovation projects for operating vessels from owners such as Formosa Marine, Frontline and Hong Kong Ming Wah Shipping, setting a new record of 46 on-site simultaneous deliveries.
The year 2020 is a difficult year. The outbreak and spread of COVID-19 has had a serious impact on the global shipbuilding industry.
SUNRUI actively overcame the resistance of the epidemic, and delivered 200 sets of ballast water management system from January to June, with a year-on-year increase of 23%.
