Yang Shixu appointed President of BP China xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2020-07-01 16:45

BP announced that Mr. Yang Shixu will become President of BP China today, July 1, 2020, and Senior Vice President of regional affairs and urban low-carbon solutions for BP Group.
 
Mr. Yang has been working in BP for more than 20 years. He worked for McKinsey China and Unilever, and joined BP in 1998.
 
Mr. Yang led BP's downstream operations in Asia. During this period, he held leadership positions in joint venture projects in Mainland China, Taiwan, Korea and Malaysia, and was responsible for joint venture company management, capital account and business operation and optimization.
 
Previously he was president of BP's Acetyl business in Asia and was responsible for the management of BP's many joint ventures in the region.
 
Mr. Yang holds a bachelor's degree and a master's degree from Shanghai International Studies University.
