Xuwen Port was officially constructed on January 1, 2017, and is a key project in Guangdong Province.

Xuwen port is 12 nautical miles away from Haikou Port, and the estimated voyage is 1 hour, only half of the time for ferry crossing now.

The designed annual traffic capacity of the project is 3.2 million vehicles and 17.28 million passengers.

Xuwen Port will become a new generation of international first-class, full-featured and demonstrative passenger ro-ro transport port, and can also better connect with Hainan free trade port.

After completion, Xuwen Port will become the largest passenger ro-ro ferry terminal in the world. From the perspective of floor area, throughput and scale of comprehensive hub, Xuwen Port is indeed the world's largest passenger ro-ro ferry terminal.
