On the morning of May 8, the 130M piling ship "San Hang Zhuang 20" built by China Merchants Heavy Industry (Shenzhen) for CCCC Third Harbor Engineering was delivered in Shenzhen, marking the birth of the world's largest piling ship.

The "San Hang Zhuang 20" constructed by China Merchants Heavy Industry (Shenzhen), a subsidiary of China Merchants Industry, has a length of 108 meters, a width of 38 meters, a depth of 7.2 meters, a lifting capacity of 450 tons for the main hook, a height of 133 meters for the pile frame, and a maximum lifting capacity of 700 tons for the pile frame, which can adapt to the conditions of driving in the offshore area and 50 meters in water depth, and meet the construction requirements of "105m + water depth" with a pile length and a pile diameter of Φ 5000mm. It is by far the largest and tallest piling ship in the world.

This year, the novel coronavirus epidemic has had a great impact on the project production organization, equipment acquisition, transportation and commissioning. With the sincere cooperation and joint efforts of CCCC Third Harbor Engineering, China Classification Society and China Merchants Heavy Industry (Shenzhen), the project team has carefully designed and scientifically organized to successfully overcome the impact of the epidemic. The "San Hang Zhuang 20" shortened the construction period by half a year compared with similar ships.

After the project is delivered, the offshore wind power installation project will be carried out, adding another great tool for the development of China's marine resources.
