1. Yangzijiang Shipbuilding Delivered and Named 3800 TEU container ship CHARLOTTE. The delivery and signing ceremony was held on Jan 15 2018 and the ship was built for Germany shipowner PD.
2. During nearly 10 days’ burning, the fire on SANCHI extinguished, resulting in a length of about 10 nautical miles, width of 1-4 nautical miles of oil zone.
3. Evergreen Marine will order eight 11,000TEU container ships and rent 12 same-type vessels.
4. Yangzhou COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry Co., Ltd. named and delivered three 64,000 DWT bulk carriers built for Tomini Shipping based in the United Arab Emirates.
5. Dalian COSCO KHI Ship Engineering Co., Ltd. (DACKS) named and delivered a 308,000 DWT VLCC on Jan 4.
6. The board of directors of COSCO SHIPPING International (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. announced that Mr. Wang Yuhang had been appointed as executive director and Chairman of the Board of the Company, and Mr. Zhu Jianhui, executive director and Vice Chairman of the Board of the Company, had been appointed as the Managing Director of the Company.
