1. The Panama flag tanker “SANCHI” collided with Hongkong flag bulker “CF CRYSTAL”on Beijing time 20:00 Jan 6, 2018 from 160 miles east of China Yangtze Estuary according to Ministry of Transport.
2. Capt. Xu Lirong, Chairman of COSCO SHIPPING, had a meeting with Mr. Enrique Razon Jr, Chairman and President of International Container Terminal Services Inc (ICTSI), and exchanged views on collaboration in global shipping and terminal operation on Jan 4, 2018.
3. On January 4, China CSSC CHENGXI Shipyard delivered the "MINGQIANG" PACIFIC MERIT " Dolphin 64k" 64,000 DWT bulk carrier built for China Merchants Energy Shipping.
4. On January 5, the first Sino-Russian international train of COSCO Shipping officially departed. A freight train with 46 40-foot container cargos departed from Tianjin Port for Moscow, Russia.
5. The Singapore ship owner IMC Shipping has ordered a series of about eight chemical products tankers in China, which worth $280m.
