Deng Renjie takes over as chairman of China Merchants Port xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2020-02-05 16:31


On February 4, China Merchants Port Group announced that the board of directors received the written resignation submitted by Fu Gangfeng, chairman of the company, on January 31, 2020. Due to the change of work, Fu Gangfeng applied to the board of directors to resign from the position of chairman and director of the company.
 
Mr. Fu's resignation takes effect when his resignation is delivered to the company's board of directors. As of the date of disclosure of this announcement, Fu Gangfeng does not hold shares of the company.
 
According to the needs of operation and development, China merchants port deliberated and passed the bill on the election of Mr. Deng Renjie as the chairman  of the ninth board of directors, and elected Mr. Deng Renjie as the new chairman of the company, whose term of office is the same as that of the current board of directors, until June 2020.

Deng Renjie graduated from Dalian Maritime University with a master's degree in international economic law. He is deputy general manager of China Merchants Group and chairman of Liaoning Port Group.
