Dream Cruises, a luxury cruise liner created in 2016 for Asian sourced markets, has temporarily suspended its operation in the Chinese mainland due to the outbreak of the novel coronavirus, sources with the company said.

Three passengers traveling with the World Dream, a ship under the company's fleet, were confirmed with the novel coronavirus on Sunday and Monday, after leaving the ship on Jan 24 in Nansha of Guangzhou, the capital of South China's Guangdong province.

The World Dream sailed from Guangzhou to Vietnam on Jan 19 carrying 4,482 passengers and 1,814 crew members.

The company has submitted a list of all passengers and crew to local cultural and tourism authority, calling on people traveling with the ship to report their health condition and conduct medical monitoring.
