Shanghai Shipbuilding Deliver COSCO SHIPPING ALPS 56 Days in Advance
 
China Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding delivered the third container ship COSCO SHIPPING ALPS 56 days in advance on Jan 3.
 


14,500-teu container ship is a new generation of container ship designed and developed by Hudong-Zhonghua China. The ship is 366 meters in length, 51.2 meters in width and the designed draft is 30.2 meter, designed draft 14.0 meters.



With 9 cargo hold, the ship’s entire board carrying capacity reached 14,568-teu. Compared with the same type, this ship has lower fuel consumption with stronger energy saving and environmental protection character.
 
Chen Jun, general manager of Hudong-Zhonghua, Gu Zhongdong, deputy general manager of COSCO Shipping, Zheng Min-sheng, deputy general manager of China Shipbuilding trading business operation department four and Huang Yiping, deputy general manager of Hudong-Zhonghua China and general manager of Changxing Shipbuilding, signed the delivery document.
