Xiamen, Busan ports establish friendly relations xinde marine news 2019-08-27 09:51


The Ports of Xiamen in eastern Fujian province and Busan in South Korea established friendly relations, according to a signing ceremony held in Xiamen on Aug 20.
 
Xiamen Port is one of the four major international shipping centers in China, with 92 international container shipping routes, while Busan Port is the largest and busiest international trade port in South Korea, with complete facilities and a developed cruise industry.
 
At present, there are 23 shipping routes between the two ports.
 
According to the memorandum of understanding inked by the Ports of Xiamen and Busan, the two sides will enhance their cooperation in international transit service and technical training, launch more shipping routes between Xiamen and Busan, and improve the role of ports in economic exchange between the two countries.
