ADNOC,CNOOC in strateegic partnership xinde marine news 2019-07-23 17:06


The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) signed a strategic framework agreement with the China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) that includes cooperation on LNG. 
 
The deal was confirmed by ADNOC through its social media channels, with the Emirates News Agency reporting that the deal encompasses cooperation in both the upstream and downstream sectors as well as liquefied natural gas.
 
The two companies have reached an agreement to look into the options of collaboration on LNG sales and purchase as well as the potential for partnership and joint-investment opportunities.
 
ADNOC and CNOOC have also agreed to share knowledge and technologies in the ultra-sour gas development segment as well as using Offshore Oil Engineering (COOEC) as a qualified EPC contractor and China Oilfield Services as a supplier of oilfield services.
