Mr Wang Hong inspects Pacific Longevity and Pacific Express at Yiu Lian Dockyards xinde marine news 2019-07-15 13:30


A special inspection and crew greeting on ships Pacific Longevity and Pacific Express which were under repair at CMI’s Shenzhen Mazhou Island Ship Repair Base as part of the “Work Safety Month” initiative was conducted by both Mr Wang Hong, Executive Vice President of China Merchants Group, and Mr Xie Chunlin, Chairman of CMES, on June 25 2019.
 
All parts of the ships including the decks, living quarters, both inner and outer parts of engine rooms, bridges as well as their safety management systems were inspected during the visit. Crew’s contingency procedures for hazard management were also checked during the inspection.
 
An explanation on the installation condition of the fleet desulfurization equipment for the China Merchants Shipping was delivered. And more specific requirements were told when talking with the crew.
