Xiamen Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. adds 8 orders of Dual-Fuel Aframax Oil Tankers ! Xinde Marine News Pang Kai 2024-07-31 17:33

on July 16, 2024,Xiamen Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. (XSI) has officially signed an order financing agreement for 8114,000-ton dual-fuel (LNG) oil tankers with the Xiamen Branch of Shanghai Pudong Development Bank.

Advanced Design and Environmental Standards:
The series of ships are Aframax oil tankers designed by Shanghai Ship Research and Design Institute (SDARI) with dual-fuel propulsion. They feature:
- Overall length of approximately 249.9 meters
- Beam of 44 meters
- Deadweight of about 113,600 tons
- Compliance with NOx TIER III emission standards
 
These vessels are designed with energy-saving and environmental protection characteristics, as well as strong adaptability. They are primarily used for carrying crude oil and refined oil products.
