Following the signing of a contract for methanol fuel systems for five new ships with Yangzhou COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry in June, Weihai Heavy Industry Technology has recently signed another contract with Shanghai COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry for the dual-fuel conversion of two 20,000 TEU and two 13,800 TEU existing container ships. This marks the first EPC contract for a methanol fuel supply system for operational ship dual-fuel conversions undertaken by Weihai Heavy Industry Technology.
