ITASCA, Illinois-headquartered global supply chain solutions company AIT Worldwide Logistics has opened a new full-service station in the Qingdao on China's eastern seaboard.

Located in Shandong province, AIT-Qingdao is the organisation's seventh office in China, joining the company's Asia Pacific network.

Positioned in a port city on the Yellow Sea and led by a veteran logistics manager with extensive ocean shipping experience, transpacific services are expected to be the leading operational activity for the AIT-Qingdao team. This location strengthens the connections to many key customers in the US with our transpacific import service. AIT is thrilled to participate in the vibrant industrial economy of Qingdao, one of China's top 10 GDP growth areas."
