On 26th Dec, the Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage System(CCUS) independently developed by Headway Technology Group (Qingdao) Co., Ltd. obtained Approval of Principle (AIP) certificate officially issued by China Classification Society, making this product obtained its third AIP from classification societies.
 
 
Headway's CCUS system stands out with many advantages such as small size, low power consumption, convenient operation, etc.  It is reported that the Headway's carbon capture and storage system is based on the EEXI and CII rules issued by the IMO.
 
Headway's CCUS can operate by waste heat and excess steam, which can save up to 40% power consumption when compared to conventional CCUS technology. Moreover, when installed with OceanGuard® Exhaust Gas Cleaning System, the combination can save up to 25% of the fuel cost.
