SPG's Yantai Port opens new cargo route to the Middle East SPG 2023-09-05 14:14

A cargo vessel carrying 2,250 cubic meters of equipment recently set sail from Yantai Port, a subsidiary corporation of Shandong Port Group (SPG), to the port of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates, marking the opening of a new cargo route linking Yantai and the Middle East.
 
Yantai Port has since 2023 been making efforts to promote innovation-driven development and deepen cooperation with its partners to help SPG achieve its goal of becoming a world-class sea port operator.
 
The port has opened 20 cargo routes to Africa, Southeast Asia, Northeast Asia, South America, Europe, the Middle East, and Mexico to date. Official data show that Yantai Port launched nearly 400 cargo lines from January to August, making it the largest trading port serving China-Africa trade and an important part of the Belt and Road Initiative.
