On August 25, Wah Kwong Maritime Transport Holdings held a christening ceremony for a 63,000 dwt bulk carrier at Yangzhou New Dayang Shipyard.

M.V Eastern Venture has a total length of 199.99 meters, a molded width of 33.26 meters, and a molded depth of 18.80 meters. It adopts the new generation of green, energy-saving and environmentally friendly CROWN ship type designed and developed by SUMEC.
 
In terms of environmental protection, the ship has obtained the dual-fuel Ready symbol, is equipped with scrubbers, and incorporates advanced green design concepts to meet the requirements of IMO's EEDI Phase Ⅲ and Tier Ⅲ emission standards.
