RINA Group CEO Visits China: Sparking Cooperation and Advancing Major Projects xinde marine news Chen Yang 2024-07-17 10:20

On July 10th, Carlo Luzzatto, CEO of RINA Group, led the executive team on a significant visit to Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. (SWS). The SWS team, including Chairman Mr. Wang Qi and Vice President Mr. Zhou Qi, warmly welcomed them. During this visit, a contract signing ceremony was held for the supervision and classification of seven 9,000-car Pure Car and Truck Carriers (PCTC) for Grinaldi Euromed, a subsidiary of the Grimaldi Group. This agreement marks a major step forward of RINA collaboration and commitment to advancing the maritime industry.
 
Later that day, Mr. Carlo Luzzatto also paid a courtesy visit to Mr. Zhang Xiaohong, Vice Mayor of Shanghai Municipal Government. The discussions covered a wide range of crucial topics, including the construction of the Shanghai International Shipping Center, the upgrading of the shipbuilding industry, green shipping, and the high-quality development of the cruise industry chain.
 
Both parties delved into the sustainability and digital transformation of the shipping industry, identifying new opportunities for commercial cooperation between China and Europe. This visit underscores RINA Group's dedication to fostering strong international partnerships and driving innovation in the maritime sector.
