Seacon Shipping Group Presented at Posidonia 2018 xinde marine news 2018-06-12 14:52

On 4 June 2018, the 26th Posidonia International Shipping Exhibition kicked off in Athens, the capital of Greece.Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras attended the opening ceremony and Zou Xiaoli, the Chinese ambassador to Greece, visited the exhibition.
This year's Posidonia lasted from 4 June to 8 June with over 22,000 visitors. A total of 22 national pavilions were set up and more than 40 seminars and conferences were held. 


Seacon Shipping Group’s delegation participated in Posidonia 2018 and its exhibition stand was located in Hall 2. Both colleagues from Group's business department and German,Greek representative offices participated in the exhibition.


During the exhibition, many well-known European shipowners,cargo owners and other new and old customers visited Seacon’s showroom to conduct in-depth exchanges on ship management, crew manning,chartering and freight services. Many of them reached cooperative intention with Seacon and both spoke highly of Seacon’s level of operation and management and agreed to visit the office as soon as possible after the exhibition.

As one of the major grand gatherings of the world shipping industry, Posidonia has attracted more than 20,000 delegates and 2,000 companies from more than 100 countries. Apart from well-known global shipping companies, large shipowners and mainstream manufacturers, many Chinese enterprises such as CSSC/CCS/COSCO SHIPPING/SEACON presented at the exhibition and were very eye-catching. According to statistics, a total of 175 exhibitors from China participated in the exhibition and became the largest participating country except the host country- Greece.
