COSCO SHIPPING Provides Total Supply Chain Solution to BYD's NEV Project in Australia COSCO SHIPPING 2023-05-31 09:29

On May 14, as the last BYD ATTO 3 slowly rolled out of the container and arrived at the customer's warehouse in Brisbane, COSCO SHIPPING completed the delivery of the first batch of BYD's new energy vehicles (NEVs) to Australia. Based on a sound delivery plan, the project team realized centralized scheduling and rapid delivery of goods to the three major ports in Australia (Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane), completing the delivery of 110 vehicles to the three local ports in less than three weeks.

With the continuous increase of global attention to environmental protection and sustainable development, the demand for NEVs in the Australian market is also spiraling up. Particularly in the context of the explosive growth of Chinese car brands in the country, BYD's ATTO 3 stood out as one of the best-selling models in Australia in the first quarter of 2023. As a result, the original ro-ro shipping mode has fallen far short of the market demand, while the total supply chain container shipping service has emerged as the customer's first choice. Thanks to its unremitting efforts, COSCO SHIPPING Lines Australia finally made its way to become the preferred supplier of total supply chain service for the BYD project in Australia.
