On April 18, the 62,000 dwt multipurpose pulp carrier "COSCO SHIPPING TENG DA" was christened and delivered for COSCO Shipping Development by COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry (DALIAN).
"COSCO SHIPPING TENG DA" is the 20th 62,000 dwt multipurpose pulp carrier built by COSCO SHIPPING Heavy Industry (DALIAN) since it entered the multi-purpose pulp ship market in 2017. It is also the last ship in this series.
"COSCO SHIPPING TENG DA" and its 19 sister ships are all operated by COSCO SHIPPING Specialized.
The ship is 201.8 meters long, 32.26 meters wide and 19.3 meters deep. It has a sailing capacity of 22,000 nautical miles and a cargo capacity of about 72,000 m3. It is classified into CCS.
