On April 10, ZhongGu Logistics released its financial results for 2022. The annual operating income was 14.209 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 15.60%, and the net profit attributable to the parent company was 2.741 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 14.02%.The operating net profit exceeded 2 billion yuan for the first time.
 
During the reporting period, the company realized operating income of 14.209 billion yuan, an increase of 15.60% over the same period of the previous year, of which water transportation business income was 12.322 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 21.26%, and land transportation business income was 1.859 billion yuan, a year-on-year decrease of 12.67%.
 
The net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies was 2.741 billion yuan, an increase of 14.02% over the same period last year.The net profit attributable to shareholders of listed companies after deducting non-recurring gains and losses was 2.135 billion yuan, an increase of 34.23% over the same period of last year. The volume was 12.13 million TEUs, a year-on-year decrease of 8.52%.
 
In 2022, against the background of the strong recovery of China's domestic economy, the demand for domestic container logistics has also been released simultaneously.
 
According to the PDCI index, the industry average freight rate index in 2022 increased by 13% compared with the same period of the previous year, and the increase in freight rates plays an important role in supporting the company's performance growth.
