11 ships of two types! CSSC Chengxi fully exceeded the annual shipbuilding task! Xinde Marine News Sarah Yu 2023-04-10 17:17

On April 7, CSSC Chengxi Shipyard signed a contract with CITIC Financial Leasing for the construction of 10 84,500 dwt multi-purpose ships, as well as a contract for the construction of 1 17,000 dwt asphaltum ship with Japan's KUMIAI.

So far, CSSC Chengxi has fully exceeded the annual shipbuilding operation order receiving task in just over 3 months.
 
The 84,500 dwt multi-purpose ship signed by CSSC Chengxi this time has strong adaptability and high loading efficiency, and can transport pulp, containers, new energy vehicles and other cargoes. At the same time, this ship type has excellent environmental protection performance,which can meet EEDI PHASE III and is 50% lower than the baseline.

The 17,000 dwt asphaltum ship has a length of 160 meters, a molded width of 23.5 meters, a molded depth of 13.2 meters, a design draft of 8.5 meters, and a design load capacity of 17,600 dwt. 

So far, each of the multi-purpose ships completed and delivered by the company has achieved the goal of delivery ahead of schedule, and has been highly praised by customers.
