DACKS won another order for two 64000DWT bulk carriers from Turkish shipowner xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2021-10-09 16:58

Turkish shipowner Yasa Shipping ordered two 64000 DWT Ultramax bulk carriers at Dalian COSCO Khi Ship Engineering, with a total price of about US $66 million.
 
According to the ship brokerage company, the two ships are planned to be delivered in 2023, and their design meets the requirements of EEDI Phase III.
 
Yasa is an "old customer" of DACKS. As early as 2018, Yasa ordered four 61000 DWT Ultramax bulk carriers in DACKS, and all four were delivered in 2019.
 
According to Clarkson's data, at present, DACKS holds orders for 43 ships with a total weight of 4.2574 million dwt, including 11 container ships and 32 bulk carriers, and the delivery time has been arranged until 2025.
