"Chinese seafarers career happiness index" evaluation conference was held in Dalian Maritime University.

A public welfare research,"Chinese seafarers career happiness index" evaluation conference was held by DMU Shipping Development Research Institue and XINDE Marine News in Dalian Maritime University on May,30.
 
Chen shuwei,the general manager of XINDE Marine News,,Gu jianwen, general manager of Dalian Jinfu shipping co., LTD,Sun zhonghua, vice President of DMU Shipping Development Research Institue , crew service organization,the person in charge of the ship management company and the representatives of the institution attended the meeting.
 
It is the first time in China to study the "Chinese seafarers career happiness index".The project team gained the satisfaction situation in the aspects such as  salary,shore leave,foods on board,workload,relationships on board,social welfare and convenience of access to the outside world from more than 8,000 seafarers engaged in the international navigation by online questionnaire survey.
 
The experts at the conference believed that the research results objectively and truly reflect the basic situation of China's international navigation seafarers.
 
It is reported that the “Chinese seafarers career happiness index" will be officially released on the international seafarer day on June 25.
