On December 8, the Third CLS ESG Summit Forum and Transcendence Awards of 2022 were held at the Shanghai Greenland Convention Center.
ESG refers to Environment, Social and Governance, which assesses the sustainability of business operations and its impact on social values from three dimensions: environment, society and corporate governance.
The Transcendence Awards presented by CLS on the occasion of the CLS ESG Summit Forum aim to pay tribute to Chinese enterprises that have made outstanding contributions to the cause of ESG in China, and to demonstrate industry recognition of responsible enterprises.
The winning of the “ESG Pioneer Award” by COSCO SHIPPING Holdings this year has reflected the industry affirmation of the company’s efforts in establishing a well-rounded ESG fulfillment mechanism, committing to social responsibility, and promoting the concept of sustainable development throughout the years.
