On August 10, the ship "JIANG HAI ZHI DA 17" departed from Laotangshan Phase III terminal in Cengang Port Area of Zhoushan Port, Ningbo, loaded 11,208 tons of imported soybeans from the sea into the river, and went straight to Wuhan, Hubei.

This marks the official opening of China's first direct river-sea "transport capacity pool".

At present, there are only 5 river-sea direct vessels in China. This time, there are 4 ships joining the "capacity pool" of the river-sea direct route.

China's first direct river-sea "capacity pool" is a ship operation alliance model launched by Ningbo Zhoushan Port to give full play to the advantages of river-sea direct ships and further smooth the supply chain and logistics chain between Ningbo Zhoushan Port and the area along the Yangtze River.
