Qingdao SunRui received MSC six 16,000TEU container vessels FGSS batch orders Xinde Marine News 2022-06-16 14:47

On June 15, Qingdao SunRui Marine Environment Engineering Company and Dalian Shipbuilding Industry held the signing ceremony of order for six LNG fuel gas supply systems (FGSS).

FGSS equipment signed this time will serve the six 16,000TEU dual-fuel container vessels built for the world's largest container ship owner MSC, which is compatible with the world's largest low speed dual-fuel engine launched by WinGD, and is scheduled to be delivered in 2023.

With the introduction of ship environmental protection regulations and decarbonization policies of various countries, LNG powered ships will be built in large numbers. In the past, some core technologies in FGSS field were monopolized by a few foreign manufacturers. After five years of research and development, Qingdao SunRui has developed GasLink® Marine LNG gas supply system with completely independent intellectual property rights. Its product design, production and delivery capabilities rank among the top level in the world, conveying the power of Chinese brands to the world.
