On September 2, Yangzijiang Shipbuilding announced that five alternative orders of 10 + 5 new Panamax 7000TEU LNG dual fuel container ships signed by the company and the world's largest independent container ship owner Seaspan Corp came into effect.
 
In addition, the new order for an 82000 DWT bulk carrier from the Japanese ship owner also came into effect. These new ships are planned to be delivered from 2022 to 2024.
 
On July 30, Yangzijiang announced that it had signed an order for 10 + 5 new Panamax 7000TEU LNG dual fuel powered container ships with Seaspan.
 
This series of ships adopts B-type tank as LNG fuel tank, and the design of FGSS and tank body is completed by Yangzijiang. At the same time, the ship and its engine meet or even exceed the current international relevant regulations, and will also meet the requirements of EEDI Phase Ⅲ.
 
Since 2021, Yangzijiang Shipbuilding has undertaken 118 new ship orders with a value of US $7.21 billion.
