Huanghua port Jan coal shipments at 15.66 Mt xinde marine news 2018-02-07 15:09



Thermal coal shipment from coal handling terminals of Huanghua port in northern China reached 15.66 million tonnes in January, said Cangzhou Maritime Bureau.
 
There were 726 vessels  in and off the port for coal handling, making a good start of the new year of 2018.
 
The bureau took measures to secure coal supply amid freezing temperatures and snowy weather.
 
Total thermal coal traded at Huanghua port hit an all-time high of 193 million tonnes during the whole year of 2017, rising 20.6% year on year.
