On August 10, Huawei officially announced that it has successfully completed the commercial operation of Tianjin Port Field Bridge and 5G network remote control business with Tianjin Mobile, in order to promote the construction of "5G smart Port" in Tianjin Port.

Tianjin port is the largest comprehensive port in north China, and also one of the world's ten largest ports.

At present, Tianjin Mobile has realized 5G network coverage in Tianjin Port through 5G end-to-end solution provided by Huawei.

Based on end-to-end 5G SA independent networking and MEC sinking deployment, Tianjin Port has not only replaced the traditional transmission mode of optical fiber, but also reduced the whole time delay to milliseconds.

On this basis, Huawei, together with Tianjin Mobile, introduced an online real-time evaluation and monitoring system for 5G port video and control business performance in Tianjin Port to change the previous situation of lack of system management.

Through business simulation and online long-term test data, it is conducive to simplifying the operation and maintenance process, improving the efficiency of operation and maintenance, and facilitating the smart management of 5G ports.

In the future, Huawei plans to work with Tianjin Mobile to jointly promote the multi-scene integration application of 5G technology in Tianjin Port with industry partners, and strive to build Tianjin Port into a world-class modern full 5G green smart port through the combination of 5G, AI and big data.
