Construction of world's first 100, 000 dwt smart farming ship started xinde marine news Sarah Yu 2020-06-04 16:48

On June 3, Qingdao Conson Group and CSSC's Qingdao Beihai Shipbuilding Heavy Industry signed a contract to build the world's first 100,000-ton smart fishery large-scale farming ship.
 
The contracted "Guoxin No. 1" aquaculture ship is expected to be delivered in March 2022, with a deadweight of about 100,000 tons, a water body of 80,000 cubic meters and a length of 249 meters.
 
The signing of the contract marks that the aquaculture ship project has officially entered the substantive construction stage.
 
Conson Group will take the successful production of the first aquaculture ship as the starting point, successively invest in the construction of 50 aquaculture ships, forming a far-reaching marine aquaculture industry chain with a total tonnage of more than 5 million tons, an annual output of more than 200000 tons of valuable marine fish, and an output value of more than 11 billion yuan.
 
Qingdao Conson Group is a state-owned investment company mainly supported by comprehensive finance, urban function development, urban operation service and "3+2" industrial structure of modern ocean and urban information industry.
