On June 30, the first 13,800 DWT stainless steel chemical tanker built by Chongqing Chuandong Shipbuilding Industry of CSSC for COSCO Shipping (Shanghai) held a naming and delivery ceremony, the tanker was named "Jinhaiying".
"Jinhaiying" is a green, intelligent, environmental protection as one of the new generation of stainless steel chemical tanker. The tanker has a total length of 129 meters, a width of 22 meters, a depth of 11.8 meters, a structural draft of 8.7 meters and a deadweight of 13,800 tons, creating a new record of the maximum ship tonnage built in southwest of China shipbuilding industry. Classification in CCS.
