The first quarter has passed. In the face of difficulties such as the Spring Festival Holiday, epidemic prevention and control, and resumption of production, Yangzijiang Shipbuilding took a series of measures after the Spring Festival.
 
From January to March, Yangzijiang Shipbuilding completed 11 ships, 21.5% of the 51 ship delivery tasks of the whole year; By the end of march, 9 new orders were received and 78 were held.
 
At the beginning of the second quarter of 2020, New Yangzi Shipbuilding overcame the impact of COVID-19 and the company's production has been fully accelerated. In April, it is planned to start construction of 2 ships and carry 3 ships. There will be 4 ships out of the dock, 4 ships for trial, 4 ships for delivery and 1 ship for completion.


On April 7, construction of a 50000DWT tanker for New Yangzi Shipbuilding began.


On April 9, the fifth 45000DWT bulk carrier built by New Yangzi Shipbuilding for Navibulgar was successfully launched on the east line of the platform.


On the morning of April 14, an 82000DWT bulk carrier built by Yangzijiang Shipbuilding for the Greek owner ANGELAKOS was successfully named and delivered in New Yangzi Shipbuilding. The ship is the sixth in a series of eight ships that Yangzijiang has built for ANGELAKOS.
