New Times delivered the second 163,000-dwt tanker to the Greek shipowner Xinde Marine News Sarah Yu 2022-02-25 15:04

On the morning of February 23, New Times Shipbuilding held a signing and delivery ceremony for the 163,000-dwt tanker "AFRICA".
 
Greek shipowner DYNACOM has ordered five 163,000-dwt tankers in New Times Shipbuilding. The ship "AFRICA" delivered this time is the second one. The first ship was successfully delivered on January 27. 
The 163,000-dwt series crude carrier has a total length of 274 meters, a length of 268.8 meters, a, width of 50 meters, a depth of 23.2 meters, a design draft of 16.1 meters, a structural draft of 17.15 meters, a tank capacity of 180,000 m3, and a deadweight tonnage of 163,000 dwt.
 
The ship is equipped with a MAN BW 6G70ME-C10.5 Tier III (HPSCR), and is classified into Bureau Veritas (BV).
