At the critical phase of epidemic prevention and control, Shandong Port focused on epidemic prevention and control, production and management, and made every effort to promote economic and social development. On February 24, Shandong Port Group started its first batch of key construction projects in 2020 with a total investment of 21 billion yuan in Qingdao Port, Rizhao Port, Yantai Port and Bohai Bay Port in Shandong Province, following the construction of grain silos in Dongjiakou port area and other construction sites.
 
The key projects started this time involve terminals such as bulk cargo, crude oil, and ro-ro. According to the market demand and development trend, Shandong Port Group has targeted 24 new key projects, which span Qingdao Port, Rizhao Port, Yantai Port and Bohai Bay Port, connecting more than 3,000 kilometers of coastline.
 
Shandong Port Group will strive to make sufficient project reserves for port development after the epidemic.
