According to the official information of Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding Group, China State Shipbuilding Corporation welcomed its first big order after its official establishment!
On the afternoon of November 26, Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding Group and Jiangnan Shipyard Group, both subsidiaries of China State Shipbuilding Corporation, signed two 23,000TEU ultra-large container ship construction contracts in Taipei.
The four 23,000TEU ultra-large container ships in this project are all designed by Hudong-Zhonghua and undertake the responsibility for the construction of the first ship.
This type of container ship has the world's largest container volume and the largest deadweight, with a total number of 23,888 containers.
