Shanghai quarterly container volume up 7pc to 10.42 million xinde marine news 2019-04-23 13:20


SHANGHAI, the world's biggest container port, posted a 12.4 per cent year-on -year increase in container volume in March to 3.81 million TEU, according to the Shanghai International Port Group (SIPG).
 
March volumes also jumped 33.2 per cent compared to 2.86 million TEU lifted in February. From January to March this year, Shanghai port moved 10.42 million TEU, up seven per cent year on year.
