On July 22, the world's first airborne SCR marine low-speed engine CSSC WinGD X52, independently developed by China Shipbuilding Power (Group), a subsidiary of CSSC, and built by Dalian Marine Diesel (DMD), was officially launched to the world.
Witnessed by all the guests, China Classification Society (CCS), American Bureau of Shipping (ABS), and DNV respectively issued design approval, type approval and product approval to China Shipbuilding Power and DMD for CSSC WinGD X52 low-speed engine.
The successful development of CSSC WinGD X52 low-speed engine is another major breakthrough made by China State Shipbuilding Corporation in the field of ship power. It is a milestone in the development process of CSSC's independent innovation.
As the world's first airborne SCR low-speed engine, CSSC WinGD X52 can meet the latest Tier Ⅲ emission requirements of IMO.
