On December 10, the second 84,000-cubic meter VLGC, "KEEGAN No.2", built by Jiangnan Shipyard for Oriental Energy, was officially completed and delivered.
So far, Jiangnan Shipyard has successfully completed the annual planned delivery of 8 VLGCs, and continues to lead the world LPG ship market.
The eight series ships to be delivered in 2020 are all the second-generation VLGC independently designed by Jiangnan Shipyard, with the title of "Shanghai Brand" and the upgraded version of "Panda 84P", known as "Panda 84P 2.0".
The ship has a design length of 230.0 meters, a width of 36.6 meters, a depth of 22.2 meters, a design draft of 11.4 meters, a structural draft of 12.0 meters, and a tank capacity of 84,000 cubic meters.
After efforts, Jiangnan Shipyard has a higher and higher market share in LPG carriers. Statistics show that a total of 21 VLGCs have been delivered and 14 new orders have been signed in the world this year. Among them, the number of ships delivered and orders received by Jiangnan Shipyard reached 38.1% and 57.1% respectively.
