
Seatrade Maritime Crew Connect Global 2026, the world’s foremost event dedicated to maritime crewing, training, and seafarer welfare, returns this October from 20–22
nd at Shangri-La The Fort, Manila, Philippines.
This year’s edition will bring together over 700 maritime professionals including shipowners, crewing managers, regulators, technology innovators, and training providers, to explore the evolving dynamics of the global maritime workforce across a comprehensive conference agenda, show floor expo, awards and networking opportunities.
The 2026 programme has been meticulously curated to address the most pressing challenges and opportunities in maritime crewing, with a focus on digital transformation, regulatory compliance, crew welfare, and sustainable workforce development.

Another highlight of the three day event is the Crew Connect Global Awards, that will take place on Wednesday, 21 October 2026 and are a hallmark of recognition for individuals, organisations, and innovations that are shaping the future of the maritime industry. This year’s awards will spotlight achievements across a range of categories, including: Industry Partner Award; Innovation and Technology Award; Training and Safety at Sea Award; Health and Wellbeing at Sea Award; Environmental & Green Transition Award; Seafarer of the Year Award; Industry Champion Award – audience choice and Lifetime Achievement Award.

Entry is free of charge, and participants may submit nominations in multiple categories, provided they meet the criteria. With the exception of the Industry Champion Award, an audience choice on the night, and Lifetime Achievement Award, chosen by the Seatrade Maritime News editorial board, entries will be evaluated by an independent panel of distinguished industry leaders, ensuring a fair and transparent selection process.
