Breaking New Waves: U-Ming & Sumec Marine Celebrate “Yufa” Naming and 4 New Crown 63 PLUS Orders Xinde Marine News Pang Kai 2024-10-15 09:52


On October 14th, a grand naming ceremony was held for U-Ming Marine’s latest Crown 63 PLUS bulk carrier, built by Sumec Marine and New Dayang Shipbuilding.

Zhao Weilin, Sumec Group General Manager, emphasized that despite global uncertainties, the shipbuilding and shipping industries remain vital links connecting the world.

The newly named “Yufa” vessel represents yet another achievement for the Crown 63 PLUS series, with over 100 vessels now ordered, and a new agreement for four more Crown 63 PLUS ships signed on the same day.

Currently total number of orders for all third-generation Crown 63 models has now reached 197 vessels.

Looking ahead, Sumec Marine is committed to accelerating innovation, enhancing R&D capabilities, and delivering differentiated, cutting-edge vessels that meet the evolving needs of the maritime industry.
