Huangpu Wenchong Shipbuilding together with China Shipbuilding Trading has successfully signed a contract for the construction of two 25000m³ Ammonia Dual Fuel LPG/Liquid Ammonia Carriers with Southwest Maritime.
These are China's first ammonia dual-fuel LPG/liquid ammonia carriers project and will be the first ammonia-fueled gas carriers to be classed by CCS Classification Society.
The vessel is equipped with 3 A-type liquid cargo tanks and 2 deck tanks, designed for -50 °C, can load two kinds of cargoes at the same time.
