China Shipyard won Louis Dreyfus Armateurs's order for 3 units wind assisted RORO vessels xinde marine news 2024-01-03 17:46

On 2nd Jan, CSSC Wuchang Shipbuilding Industry Group Co., Ltd and Louis Dreyfus Armateurs successully held the signing ceremony for 3 units wind assisted RORO vessels.

 
The newbuildings will be equiped with six Flettner rotors,  two methanol fuel engines and two sets of stabilizer fins.
 
With the renewal, the new fleet is expected to reduce average annual CO2 emissions from 68,000 to 33,000 tonnes by 2030, making a significant contribution to green shipping.
