On September 11, the 24,116 TEU ultra-large container ship series No. 4 "MSC CLAUDE GIRARDET" built by Hudong-Zhonghua for CSSC (Hong Kong) Shipping and MSC was named and delivered. This is the fourth ship of its type delivered by Hudong-Zhonghua to MSC.
The ship was independently designed by Hudong-Zhonghua, has completely independent intellectual property rights, and is classified into DNV. The ship has a total length of 399.99 meters. It has a width of 61.5 meters and can load 24,116 standard containers at a time.

This ship is the last ship of MSC project. The MSC project has been under continuous construction since July 30, 2021, and finally ushered in the successful conclusion of the project.
